Early indications are that the 2003 MLS Draft will be a good place to find outside defenders, forwards, or maybe even a goalkeeper.

The top prospect is clearly Virginia forward Alecko Eskandarian, who has already decided to skip his final year of eligibility and sign with Major League Soccer.  Barring a last-second change of heart, he will most likely be the top selection to D.C. United on January 17th.
