TODD DUNIVANT
Senior

Defender/Midfielder
Height/Weight
Stanford University

One of the top senior defenders in the country … possesses good size and speed … one of the more well-rounded, MLS-ready players in the draft … tremendously smart, and has a great feel for the game ... excellent passer who possesses a dangerous left foot … an asset taking free kicks and corners ... a skilled crosser of the ball when he gets the chance ... has enough technical ability to elude challenges, and occasionally is able to create space for himself ... a steady defender who is able to play centrally in a four man back line, but appears to be more comfortable and effective when playing left back ... can also play somewhat effectively as a two-way left-sided midfielder when needed ... despite his offensive ability, he doesn't really appear to get involved in a lot of goals for Stanford, although that may have a lot to do with his teammates ... gets beaten to the outside from time to time ... one college assistant we talked to told us he thought some of the more athletic right-sided players in MLS would abuse Dunivant.
